Arnold Weiss played the lead in the Los Angeles, New York, and Florida productions of Chaim's Love Song, and performed the one-person show, The Howie Monologues. He serves as Literary Manager for the West Coast JCC's Celebrity Staged Reading Series, where he has also performed in over 65 presentations with Ed Asner, Theodore Bikel, Tom Poston, and Doris Roberts among others. He has also played in as many staged readings for FirstStage L.A.
Recently, under two-time TONY nominated director Tony Tanner, he has appeared in Los Angeles productions of Medea and King Lear, and will be in an upcoming The Three Sisters. He has appeared in 150 plays over 30 years, including Front Page, No Exit, Of Mice and Men, Seven Year Itch, Awake and Sing, and The Country Girl, to name a few.
Film credits include Kentucky Fried Movie, You Light up My Life, and Life Imitates Art among many others. He recently completed the feature Crazy Marriage. Among numerous television credits, he has appeared in Days of Our Lives, Paranormal Borderline, episodes of Vibe (with Sinbad), and starred in the Disney docudrama pilot X-Ray. |
