These days, there are so many talented artists that, most of the time, some of them are overshadowed by the famous ones. In other words, the fact that you have a good song isn’t enough to to bring you the spotlight you deserve. “I wrote the song after a relationship came to an end, we each reacted very differently. I became stuck in an emotional rut, and she cycled solo around the Ring Road of Iceland - the well known highway which runs around the country. I was happy and proud for her, but a small part of me had the selfish desire to drag her down to my level, emotionally.”
